2. Mobilising to location

Equipment breaking-up on the lifting and

damaging other items or injuring personal
Personnel or equipment damage due to
incorrect use of slings
Equipment not correctly fastened down
inside unit
Loss of equipment or damage due to
movement during transport.

Injury to personnel or colliding other

equipment

Ensure that all equipment is secured

Mark all fragile equipment
All equipment and supplies to have weight
clearly masker. Ask for help to carry load
that are too heavy for one person.

Only correctly rated and certified shackle

to be used.
Only certified lifting slings are to be used
and all items are to be pre-slung
Make sure all non-fixed equipment is
fastened down prior to leaving base.
Secure all small and loose items in Basket
or tool boxes
Conduct regular safety inspection on good
being transported

3. Set unit and Rig up line
