Starting Server After Power Outage

After the power comes back on the server may either be on or off, but will most
likely be on.

If the server is on turn it off; if the server is off turn it on for ~30 sec, then turn it
off. See Fig. 1 for power switch location.

Turn the server back on, the server will get stuck at the Grub boot menu, it looks
like this:

Just hit enter to allow the server to continue booting.

The server should fully boot to a screen that looks something like this:

Starting the Desktop After Power Outage

Hold down the power switch for the serial controlled power switch (SCS) on the server
(use some tape or something it needs to be held down for a bit), see Fig.1 for switch
location.

Press the power button on the desktop computer to turn it on, after a few seconds switch
the input on the monitor to show the desktop computer (the first button from the left).

About 30 seconds after the login screen for the desktop (should be a picture of some
desert plants) appears release the power switch for the SCS.

IF The Server Does Not start when you push the manual power switch (no light or hard drive
noise) take the cover off the top and push down on the main motherboard power connector, next
to the CPU fan.

IF The Server Does Not boot to a login screen restart it again, it might get stuck at Grub again.
