In this paper, I present the significance of application of computers in the field of electrical engineering.

ORCAD
PSPICE has always been a useful software tool in analyzing electrical engineering circuits. An effort has been made
to analyze non-isolated closed loop DC-DC converter circuits, which is one of the most commonly used power
electronic circuit in the branch of electrical engineering, using ORCAD PSPICE through this paper. As an example,
non inverting synchronous buck boost converter, considered for demonstrating the approach. Simulation was
carried out for an input range of 6 to 35V and load resistance was varied from 12 to 48 Ohms. Output voltage was
regulated at 12V for both input voltage and load current perturbation. Physical prototype implemented and
simulation result was tested.
Keywords: ORCAD PSPICE, dc-dc converter, non-inverting synchronous buck boost converter, TL494,
