How to Make a Smooth-On Rubber Mold

Step 1: Hot glue a card board box together so that the rubber cant leak out.

Step 2: Place a bowl to weigh out the portions of Part A and B of the mold maker. Tare the
scale with the bowl on it.

Step 3: Measure out the appropriate amount of Part A for your mold. The ratio is 100A:10B.
For this particular mold we need about 800 grams. You can be a few grams off.

Step 4: Remove the Part A from the balance and place another bowl on the balance and tare it
as shown in Step 2. Measure out the appropriate part of Part B into the bowl. Remember the
ratio is 100A:10B. Here we needed about 80 grams of Part B. You can be a few milligrams off.

Step 5: Combine Part A and B and thoroughly mix for several minutes until the mixture is a
solid consistent light pink.

Step 6: Place some hot glue on the bottom of the object you are trying to make a mold of and
place it in the center of the box you prepared in Step 1.

Step 7: Pour the rubber into the box. Make sure you pour the entire batch of rubber on to the
lowest spot of the box. Pour in one spot and allow the rubber to flow around and over the
object and fill the box itself.

Step 8: Gently tap the entire thing on a table to get the air bubbles to rise to the surface. Place
the entire thing on a flat surface and allow to set for 24 hour.
