Info Edge was founded by Sanjeev Bikhchandani in 1995 with a partner. Sanjeev was
working with HMM (now GSK) before he quit to start his own company. Info Edge is
one of the earliest Internet companies in India and its online recruitment
brand Naukri.com became the leading job portal.[5] It also diversified into Online
Matrimony and Online Real Estate. It was converted into a Public Limited on April
27, 2006.[6]

Jeevansathi.com is an Indian matrimonial portal.[2] The website was bought in 2006

by Info Edge (India) Ltd.[3]
The website has more than 8.5 Lac registered members. The organization has around
230 employees working in 54 offices in 37 cities spread across the country,
headquartered in Noida. Jeevansathi also has 14 Matchpoint across the India.[2] It is a
part of Bombay Stock Exchange and the growth of the company can be tracked in the
