Part III Response

4. Which of the 3 military jobs would you like best? Why?
I like the military police job the most because it is much safer than actual combat
and I would like to keep the soldiers safe while they are away from combat.
5. Did you know that this job existed before? Or, are you surprised that it exists?
Yes I knew this job existed before because one of my relatives is a military
policeman.
6. Now that youve looked into this career, do you think it might be a good option for you? Weigh
the pros and cons of military service, government benefits, and being able to transition into a
civilian career with the other paths to the career (usually college).
Now that Ive looked into the career I see that it has many benefits and could be a
good option for me. It is a relatively safe job and I get all the government benefits
of serving in the military. When I finish my years of service, I could become a police
officer in many cities. The Partnership For Youth Success (PAYS) program
guarantees an interview with military friendly employers that are looking for
retired veterans to join their organization. Therefore, I would gain experience in
the military for my job and come back as a civilian with plenty of experience in the
law enforcement field.
