HISTORY OF TANJUNGPINANG GRAND


MOSQUE
Tanjungpinang population in times of rebellion after Arong
Balewa, 1830, was increasingly crowded. Especially the
Chinese and Indians. This is due to the agreement between
Sultan Riau and the Netherlands through the 1857 Political
Contract suggest that ethnicity China and India is equated
with the Europeans, they became residents of the Dutch
government and not the kingdom of Riau residents .

bigger and named Masjid Al-Hikmah. The mosque

the previous Keling Mosque. Unfortunately, some

the price of a single pole at that time was 300 dollars. At
that time, Rakanadalian Regents also adopted a policy to
build the SGA Hall, SMP Daik, SMP Pulau Tujuh, and housing
teachers at Jl.Riau.
