Savings from insulating Steam Lines

Note:

(1) The required inputs for calculating heat loss prevented through use of insulation are pressure, length of unins
total number of hours used in a day, and efficiency of insulation.
(2) The heat loss from 100 ft Uninsulated pipe are determined from Table. 1 or from any other means.
(3) Changing pressure automatically updates heat loss per 100 feet of uninsulated horizontal steam pipe.
(4) If you enter "0" for length of pipe, you do not have to enter any other data on that line.
