Clearly you can see as I inserted my first picture it is very
blurry , this is because I took the picture with a phone. To
combat this I decided to place an exact replica of the picture on top, this made the picture less distorted.
As you can clearly see from the second picture,
the quality is still bad, but much improved. In the future I will be using a better quality camera.
In order to delete the background of my
image, I used the magic wand tool. This highlighted the surroundings of the image, I then increased the tolerance until I was happy with how much was highlighted, and then clicked delete.
As you can see from the screenshot, I have
placed a grey background behind the picture and I have locked all the features into place. This means that I can work around them without it affecting the image.
My original chosen text was going to be bubble
writing, however it soon became apparent that this looked to childish for a music magazine. So I decided to change it more compact and professional.
