Ten'in: Sumimasen. Eigo o hanasemasen.
Sumisu: Watashi wa nihongo ga sukoshi shika hanasemasen. (Remark: here ga may be replaced by (w)o)
Ten'in: Daijoubu desu. Wakarimasu.
Smith: Good morning. Can you speak English?
Salesperson: I'm sorry. I can't speak English.
Smith: I can speak only a little Japanese. (lit: I can't but speak a little Japanese)
Salesperson: That's ok. I understand.
Example 2: Akira-san is introducing his friend Satou Hiroko-san to his other friend Naoka-san.
