Day 1: [5/08/2014 Tuesday]
Session1: Inauguration function.
The members on the dias were Dr. Rameshwar Rao, VC, JNTUH, Dr. A. Ramakrishna
Prasad, Director UIIC, JNTUH, Mr. Vinod Kumar Khere, University Relation Manager,
Atmel, Mr. Srivatsa, Application group member, Atmel.
Session 2:
Mr. Srivatsa briefed on the architecture of the Atmel Xmega A3BU(8 bit).Two kits
Atmel Xmega and Atmel Ice debugger were provided. Two experiments were
conducted using the kits.
Session 3:
Another experiment using parallel communication was executed using an LCD
device.
Session 4:
Demo on Serial communication using UART was shown.
Day 2: [06/09/2014 Wednesday]
Session 1: Mr. Venkat, Atmel Design Engineer, briefed on the architecture,
instruction set and IO support of SAM D20.
Session2:
SAMD20 kits were provided and experiments using the kits were performed to
record the readings of the Temperature sensor .
Session 3:
Mr. Vinod mentioned about the Technical Fest 14 conducted by Atmel India and
requested the Faculty of all colleges along with students to participate in the
Technical Fest by submitting abstracts online. This was followed by valedictory
function.
