I have had the pleasure of knowing Daniel for the past four years. Daniel is an enthusiastic and
extremely gifted student who is active and dedicated to his academic success and growth at
Springport High School and in the Springport Agriscience Program. Daniel has continually
challenged his learning experiences by enrolling in honors and Advanced Placement courses in
which he feels will benefit him in the long-run. In class, Daniel continually asks questions in order
to seek a better understanding of the subject matter and will help others when he finishes his work.
Daniel has a positive attitude and gets along with everyone.
Daniel is an outstanding FFA member and leader in our chapter, school, and region. As a freshman,
he was quiet and reserved, but through his involvement in FFA, he has excelled in leadership
development and personal growth. As our current Chapter President, I couldn't ask for a better role
model for other students. Daniel possesses the utmost character and integrity and his leadership
style exemplifies a strong service to others. He leads by example and puts action behind his words.
Without a doubt, he has made a positive impact in the lives of others and I look forward to seeing
this impact expanded into our region as he has also been elected as the Region II Vice President.
Daniel's activities in the FFA include: Chair of the State-winning Parliamentary Procedure Team in
2014, Region 2 Discussion Meet, State Agricultural Skills Contest participant, Community
Volunteer, Market Lamb & Dairy Market Exhibitor, participant in all chapter and regional activities,
and participant in the Springport FFA Spanish & Agriculture Study Abroad trip to Costa Rica in
2014.
Daniel is also a leader on the Cross Country and Varsity Wrestling teams. He is known for
exhibiting strong character and has been recognized on numerous occasions for his betterment to
the student body of Springport High School and the community in general.
