OBJECTIVE:
To obtain knowledge of the day-to-day workings of communication and public relations,
through a part-time job or internship; as well as explore specific career pathways.

EDUCATION:
Animas High School (2014-2016)
Durango High School (2012-2014). Class electives: Photography, French, Multifitness,
Intro to Business, Health, Yoga, Public Speaking, and Culinary Arts
Taking advance classes in: Math, History, and English
Completed the Red Cross Babysitting class and First Aid. Certified babysitter and in
CPR.
Clubs through school: Ski club

EXPERIENCE:
Pet and House Sitterfrom 2005 to Present Provide pet sitting services including dog
walking, feeding and yard care.
Child Carefrom 2005 to Present Provide child care for several families after school,
weekends and during school vacations.
Local Jobs
Hassle Free Sports, working the floor (sales) and cashier, in addition to cleaning and
buffing skis.
Durango DEVO, coaching kids ages 4-9 years old on the proper and fun ways to ride
a bike.

Academic Honor Roll: 2009-2013


I have kept a good work ethic and am knowledgeable.
Completed the Quarter Horse road ride in 2010, 2011 and the Iron horse in 2013
I know from this experience of the challenges and mechanics of racing/riding
road bikes.
Durango Mountain Bike High School League race in Fruita: Placed 2nd in the
Freshman Girls Category. Sophomore season finished 4th, 2nd, 3rd, and 2nd and 3rd
at state
I also know from this experience of the challenges and mechanics of racing/riding
mountain bike while being on a team.
National History Day: finished second at school level, first at regional level, and
got a most creative project award and best in region award at state level.
I have the knowledge of competing in academics up to a state level while also
obtaining information about childrens role in the industrial revolution.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE:

Durango Discovery Museum: I volunteered over the summer of 2011. I answered


questions, organized and cleaned. Worked with exhibits throughout the museum
I volunteered twice a week for 2 hours. I volunteered through Ashley Hiens
summer volunteer program.
Black Foot Indian Tribe: I volunteered for one week in the summer of 2011 at the
Black Foot Indian tribe in Browning Montana. I cleaned, picked up trash, painted
and fed the elderly. 8 hours a day for one week. I volunteered through the
program Global Volunteers.

INTRESTS / ACTIVITES:

I enjoy mountain biking, road biking, skiing, and tennis.


Member of the Durango Mountain Bike High School League. High school
students from Animas High School and Durango High School ride together twice
a week for 2 hours.
Ride and race for Durango DEVO (a mountain biking team).
Was previously on the USSA Freestyle Ski Team for one year.
* Have knowledge of trails and gear for beginners, intermediate, and some
advance level skiers and bikers.
Play the violin
Was on the high school girls tennis team for a spring season. Played 4 doubles
while swinging for varsity.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, the Internet. Also Adobe
Photoshop and Dreamweaver
I understand and know how to mange Windows and Apple computers.
