Las Pedroeras: The capitol of Garlic.

Las Pedroeras (Cuenca) is a little town in the province of Cuenca (Spain)

which has an interesting story and amazing traditions which makes this
town to be worthable to visit.
For example, from 1th to 7th of September, there are holidays
commemorating Jess de Nazareno, in which there are stuff like a medieval
market, some sports and other stuff.
The "Feria internacional del Ajo" is a very well-known event in which things
done with garlics have their place, like decoration, food and other stuff
related with them, but not all on that fair is garlics, because we can even
see tractors and degust some other food from La Mancha (like ham and
cheese) too.
And many more traditions, like the celebration of Easter (Semana Santa)
and Carnival, which are very funny and entertaining.
Las Pedroeras is very well known for the production of Garlics, which's one
of the most important pillars of their economy, as well as the rest of their
agriculture and their other business.
As for the leisure part, you can watch a film on the "Cine Club Paco Rabal",
eat a variety of dishes with and without garlic on their pubs, visit the "Museo
del Ajo" (Garlic Museum), be entertained on the Park. And many, many other
stuff.
In short, Las Pedroeras is a town which, even if it's little, it's very active
and it became one of the most emblematic towns of Castilla-La Mancha and
Spain.
