Explain

Dad is a dynamic
character because he has
changed from being a
very calm distant man to
being a very emotional,
involved and distressed
character and he has
been re-positioned from a
mechanic to a war
veteran, which has
influenced his personality
change.
The director uses stock
characters to create a 1
dimensional character
that we dont sympathise
with. She does this by
having their view be
either very strong but as a
mass, or very vague/not
emotionally based. An
example of a stock
character is the mob of
protesters. She keeps
these characters as stock
characters to keep a
distance from the

audience to the character

and therefore not making
the audience sympathise
with the character. Since
we dont know the
characters background/s
and we just see them as a
mob abusing a little girl.
