Course Outcomes
At the end of course the student will be able to:
1. Measure the distance between two points using direct ranging.
2. Set out perpendiculars at various points on given line using cross
staff, optical square and tape.
3. Set out geometric shapes like rectangle, hexagon using tape/chain and
compass.
4. Compute the omitted measurements of a closed traverse.
5. Determine the distance between two inaccessible points using
chain/tape & compass.
6. Locate points using radiation & intersection method of plane tabling.
7. Determine Plane table locations using three point problems.
8. Determine difference in elevation between two points using Leveling.
9. Demonstrate minor survey instruments.
