During my teaching at Greendale Elementary, my students used Hands
answer cards on a regular basis, particularly in mathematics. Through use of this resource I was able to quickly see who understood as we learnt a new concept, or as we practiced it over the course of the week. I plan to use this tool in my own future classroom. It gets every student engaged in the lesson, as it is not just the student who raises their hand who is to share their answer. Moreover, as a teacher, it helps you to see right away which difficulties your students may be having, and which students are having difficulty! In my view, this tool is indispensible in the classroom.
