Senior Software Developer

Job Description:
The Java developer develops core applications in J2EE/J2SE framework. Work on
fast-paced, energetic team that participates in high profile, mission critical
applications, specializing in integration and content services. Develop enterprise
application integration solutions that enable disparate applications to communicate
and as well as applications that present electronic content to our customers.
Responsibilities:

use Java to design and develop new application solutions that meet the needs
of our business units

use Java to provide enhancements and defect fixes of existing applications

complete thorough unit testing of all code

work on project teams throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle

Requirements:
Education
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an
equivalent degree.
Skills

excellent verbal and written communication skills

demonstrated time management techniques

Experience Required

five or more years of Java development experience

Preferred

sun certification(s)

enterprise Application Integration (EAI) experience

experience with JEE5 Frameworks, such as Struts and Spring

integration with DB2

familiarity with the AIX platform
