Faith Statement

Since I was a kid I have been raised in a Christian home and in a Christian
environment, ever since kindergarten Ive been on a Christian education. I
was raised as a Christian but specifically speaking I go to the Seventh-dayAdventist (SDA) church, my dads side of the family are very strong
Adventists since I was a kid and until now, they were my guide when my life
was tough especially when my parents were always fighting and when they
were going to a divorce and because my parents wasnt there for me during
this period of my life, they were my guiding light and they showed me the
way, they always told me to trust in the Lord and never worry because God
has a plan for each and every one.
September 10, 2012 was the day that I got my second birthday, its the day
that I got baptize which drew my closer to God and also proved my family
that what theyve taught me was worth it, and then a big decision was made
that I have to move here in Canada, at first it was challenging because some
beliefs of other denominations contradict my beliefs that I believed in since I
was a kid, one example is that SDA doesnt eat pork, shrimp, etc. and it
contradicts other churches beliefs, so, I asked my pastor about his opinion,
he told me that it is not important what other churches believes on but the
most important part is who they believed on, being able to study here in NCS
helped become open minded and it also helped me learn more what other
churches believed on and what they stand on in life.
