    Let me count the ways.

    I love thee like a love song,
    So sweet and pure.
    I miss your uplifting beats.
    I love thee like dusk and dawn
    So certain and sure.
    I miss your refreshing breeze.

    I love thee in a way that cannot be defined,


    Not as a word, much like a line.
    I do love thee
    Like words in poetry.
    I sometime fail to understand your game
    But you are beautiful all the same.
    I want to play again.

    I love thee like a captive dead set on escaping.


    It knows no boundaries.
    It will take down any frontier.
    It knows no fear.
    It will persevere.
    Until your love is near.
    Until your love is here.
