The Project

The University of Tennessees School of Journalism

and Electronic Media is working with the Medal of
Honor Society to create media pieces and document
the 2014 convention.
The documentaries will chronicle the 2014
convention hosted in Knoxville, the history of the
Medal of Honor in Tennessee and the stories of the
wives and widows of Medal of Honor recipients.
This is the first time a production piece has
focused on the wives.
Production is underway with students traveling to
different cities to interview living recipients for the
publications.
