Hi. Im a college-aged girl from Spain.

Spain That is, if I could have gone
to college. However, when I was just twelve years old, I was forced into
human trafficking.
trafficking Every year, about 500 thousand young girls around the
worldd are trafficked into prostitution,
prostitution and I was one of them. I diddnt
have a home life, much less a good one: my dad left before he knew about
me, and my house consisted of wherever my mom could find a roof each
night, although sometimes I was left out on the street. Eventually, she couldnt support me at all anymore, so she sent me with one of her sleazy
friends

friends to try and earn some cash. Once I realized what was happening,
I coulddnt get free.

Then, about six months ago, the police came and took me away.
When they arrived to break up a dangerous brawl in the worst section of
town, I was really scared of them. They saw that I was pregnant,
though, andd brought me to a shelter.
shelter There, I was given a bag with a
pair of untattered clothing, free snacks, my very own blanket, and hygiene products like toothpaste that I didnt have to earn the right to
use. Although I was grateful,
grateful it was humiliating andd unfamiliar, so I
tried to run back to my old life. Instead, they stopped me and brought
me to someplace called the Cinderella House.

Here, I was introduced to loving people, a caring environment, and this

guy named Jesus.
Jesus I felt like a princess, andd thats what they called me,
princess! Here, they took care of me and I felt a
too. Princess. Me, a princess
sense of belonging that I had always dreamed
ream d for as a kid. They helped
me learn, love,
love forgive,
forgive rehabilitate, and take care of myself. So now here
I am. My baby was born safely; I have a tutor who is preparing me to
get a job; I am part of a family here at the home; I am part of a
wonderful world
worldwide family of believers. And I hope someday to be able to
fulfill my dream of going to college. Are you willing to help me?
