INDIVIDUAL REFLECTION PAPER

Cite personal experiences: (emotional level)

Teaching little kids is simple but doing it, is not that easy. I am certain
that it is true because Ive gone through that. At first, it was happy to
play with them but as days go by, it becomes harder to control them
which really proves the naughtiness of the children. Yes, its heartwarming when you see the smiles of each children but still theres that
part when they were not able to obey your instructions. But truly, its
always been a part when it comes in disciplining children. Many things
can happen within ten days. And one of those is when four of the
children have been adopted and they have to move to other place. Im
happy for them because they had found a family that will love and care
for them as if there were their own children.
Cite certain person/child/elderly that inspires you and why:

If theres one child that I wont forget, he is Jayson. When I first saw
him, I knew that he is a tough and strong boy because his eyes speaks
it all. Eventually, I proved my first impression to him because he really
is a tough boy that acts as if he is a big, old, grown up man. But
despite the strong personality he possesses, theres this soft and kind
personality that hides in his heart. I have known it when I saw how he
loved and took care of his brother who has a down syndrome. His little
acts of kindness shows how much he loves his brother even in his
condition. Jayson reminds me of the love that Christ Jesus has given to
us. He died for us to save us from our own sins. And most especially He
love us, bracing our own imperfections. And because of this, I am
inspired to show my love to my siblings just as how Jesus loved us.
What problems/difficulty so far you have encountered and provide possible
solutions:

So far, the only problem that I encountered was about managing the
childrens behavior. It was really difficult to teach them if they,
themselves are not following your instructions. But of course, with the
help of my groupmates and the agency staff, we were able to handle
that. And also, as time goes by, we eventually knew and memorized the
behavior of the children and how will we able to discipline them.
