Night Out Against Crime
National Night Out Against Crime was a huge
success this past month. We had Noelle and Tariu
out there to help show their support for the
community. Andrea the regional hiring coordinator
and myself were also out showing our support. We
gave away plums and peaches to the community as
a healthy snack alternative. We also had many give
aways such as bubbles, flags and footballs. We
also brought along our Veteran’s fundraiser for a
Mongoose bike up for grabs. Overall it was a great
night out amongst the community to see so many
vendors out to show their support.

Jerome Lewis in the Produce department and Lori Green, Horticulture depart-
ment. She purchased Gerba Daisies, and after planting them in window boxes, they
wilted. She called the Floral department, but the manager left for the day. After
explaining the situation to Jerome, he patiently listened and was understanding and
kind. He contacted the manager and called her back. Customer spoke with Lori
Green the next day and the Gerba Daisy issue was taken care of. Customer states it
is a pleasure to do business with people who really care
