Initial Idea
Our initial idea is an action/thriller type genre in which taking place a
villain has just robbed a bank. This 5 minute opening video will take place
in cam/Dursley. To start the video we are going to put in place a
tracking/establishing shot of the location to show where this scene is
taking place and the tracking shot then reveals the robber running
through the woods. We are going to be performing varies high and low
angle shots to show each and every move that the villain makes when he
flees into the woods. During the time when the robber is running through
the woods we are going to edit in the some other film clips which we want
to use as flashbacks when it comes to the editing party, we want to do it
like this because we think that it will work well within the movie. Following
on, the flashback are going to be pictures and shots of when the robber
makes his first moves into the bank. We hope to repeat this sequence for
up to 3-4 times so that we catch each point of when the robber enters and
leaves the bank. These shots are going to be taking rom a standard
longshot. When the robber has finally escaped and fled through the woods
he then comes up to the point in which he meets his friend, The friend
character will be then played by me and I will be also wearing dark close
to cover my identity but I wont be showing my face to create tension in
the film. As well as that the camera will be placed so that you can see my
head and shoulders and the camera will be facing towards the robber, this
will be an over the shot sequence. Finally at the end the friend is no longer
loyal to the robber and by not showing the gun the friend shoots the
robber and that is where the film clip ends. We want to keep the video like
this because it almost acts as a type of cliff hanger and if people watched
this then it will intrigued them to read on and find out why he shot him
and what goes on next.
