IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
**This week is SPECIAL'S WEEK 1
**Welcome back! I hope you all had a very restful break. This school year is going
by so fast. We are diving in to the 3rd quarter. Parent Conferences are finishing up
this week. Click here to sign up for your conference, if you have not done so and
would like to have a conference this quarter.
**Guided Reading may be a little different. Students will bring home a Guided
Reading Folder. Inside you will find their Guided Reading book, Guided Reading
Notebook, and their log. Each night they will need to choose 1 of the questions on
the log to answer in their GR Notebook. Specific pages to be read will be written on
the log. In addition to the response, they will need to come up with 1 question to
ask their group the following day. That question will need to be written in the space
on the log. Please initial each night that your child has read their Guided Reading
book.
**The JCHS Baseball program is hosting a hitting and pitching clinic in January. Any
boys in 2nd-7th grade are welcome to attend. Please see the form from Coach
fountain located on the Parent Information Page.
**AR Celebration is January 30th. We will be recognizing all students who have
earned their AR stickers, PE Activity Calendar stickers, and 2nd Quarter GLOs.
