Re: Lia Grant

It was a pleasure sharing my Grade 3 classroom with Lia during her third
at Greendale Elementary from August to December of 2014.

Lia's kind, caring and compassionate manner could be felt in the classroom right away.
In my classroom I have a number of students with special needs andlor learning
difficulties. Lia was an asset to me in aiding these students, as she was very observant to
all the students' needs, and often contributed to building strategies in helping students
who were struggling.
In regards to lesson plans, Lia's learning opportunities for students were always well
thought-out and creative in their delivery. Lia's enthusiasm for teaching could be felt, and
this helped her in engaging the students. Moreover,Lia made good use of materials, such
as manipulatives and technology.

Lia most definitely left her mark on my students; she is missed in my classroom! She
truly has the makings of a great teacher, and I know she will make a difference in her
future students' lives.
