Emotional Behavioral Disorder Bipolar

Bipolar disorders have a tendency to be confused with mental disabilities,

such as:
o Depression
o PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder)
o Borderline personality disorder
o Anxiety
o Social Phobia
According to DMS V the individual must exhibit changes in mood as well as
energy.
Some symptoms appear to be normal behavior, these include:
o Sadness
o Lethargy
o Anxiety
o A loss of interest in previously enjoyed activities
Symptoms can change over time. The longer a person lives without treatment
or help the more intense their symptoms may come.
Symptoms also vary from individual to individual.

What key symptoms can we look for?

performance at work
4. Mixed State described as having a foot on the gas and the break at the
same time
5. Hallucinations or Delusions
a. If the mood episode is severe individuals may experience these
symptoms.
