Showcase
project
The mini goal for the 5th artifact is
Monday, February 9.

Our new topic is geology. You may still work
on your Showcase sentence with a partner.
Even if you are going to make the artifact by
yourself, you need to decide what artifact to
make by Thursday. (As partners, you need to be
making the same type of artifact in order to
collaborate on your sentence.)

Some ideas are:

tiny volcano, tiny chart of 3 types of rocks (you
may glue on real rocks), spin wheel of 3 types
of rocks, model of rocks changing into

metamorphic rocks (e.g. granite changing to
gneiss), grow a crystal

Ohlone Village

Our Trip is NEXT Friday.

at school. It won't impact homework.

Whew! To prepare, you need to put pictures of
you and your family on a memory/USB stick.
Or email yourself pictures. At least half a dozen
would be great!
