Introductions

Old Business:

DCCAC Board Secretary

Due to changes at her job, Dina Meeker is not able to take over as secretary of
DCCAC. Natalie Scarpino has agreed to take over as secretary.

New Business:

Deb RFP for Iowa Child Abuse Prevention Program grant

After discussion agreed to pursue grant in areas of home visitation, parenting
development, and sexual abuse prevention. Incentives are hard to get covered.
Agreed that no incentives in proposal except for meals if they are integral part of
program. Will propose costs to cover administrative position. Letter of intent is due
January 30. Deb and Dena will work on. Debb and Katie volunteered to assist in
review process for subcontractors.

Dallas County Childrens Advocacy Council (DCCAC)

Lisa -PCA Iowa Annual Conference Will be held April 13-15 at Downtown
Marriot - $85 for 3 days, $60 for 14th & 15th, $25 for 13th only. Register early since
spots are filling up.

old bookmarks you have
Reviewed DCCAC calendar Biennial Report through Secretary of State is
due will refer to Dena to file.
Be thinking about April Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month activities

Next Meeting:

Thursday, February 26th from 8:30 9:30 am at the ISU Extension & Outreach
Dallas County office. Board meeting will be from 8 8:30 am.
