INTRODUCTION
The HELLP syndrome is aggravated in
nearly 4-21% with a further complication, the
disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC)

Kim et al succeeded in demonstrating that


this new fibrinogen/C-reactive protein (CRP)
ratio is able to improve the sensitivity of the
DIC score
