This month is a busy one with

shortened weeks due to Family
Day and a Pro D Day. However,
there are a lot of events
happening in between. Be sure to
look at our Important Dates.
This past month we have been
focusing on Questioning during
reading time. Students are
encouraged to make deep
thinking questions, which are
questions that are not answered
in the book, yet continue to
create a sense of wonder for
the reader. When you are
reading with your child have
them ask questions at the
beginning/middle/end of the
book. Students have been
communicating amazing ideas!
Thanks for your continued
support in your childs learning,
Mrs. White and Ms. Ross

Ms Ross will be doing a fun activity based on the book

Ordinary Marys Extraordinary Day to celebrate
friendship and caring during this week.

Family Outing Idea

measure objects in the room and compare their size!
Also keep practicing Math Facts with your child.
Card games are great for practicing this skill! along
