-Invented by blacksmith John Deere in the 1800s.

-Made of cast steal.
-First made of a saw blade to cut up hard ground.
-When iron is smelted from its ore, it contains more carbon than
needed. To become steel, it must be reprocessed to lessen the
carbon to the right amount, where other elements can be added to
produce such steal.
-In modern steel mills this process usually occurs in an assembly
line.
-Steel is one of the world's most-recycled materials. It has a
recycling rate of over 60% globally.
-There is little to no waste left over after producing steal, and the
majority of what is left is used to produce other metals.
-The steal plow is relatively environmentally friendly for it can be
used for so long without being replaced due to its durability and
functioning.
-the main problem of steal production is air pollution but more
modern factories have been innovating how to handle this left over
byproduct.
-there may be some water pollution but this is usually solved by
water filtration systems and sight clean ups.
-it's typically a fixed piece of equipment making it hard to become
defective or broken.
-most of the U.S.' Steal comes from factories in Pittsburgh.
-steal is transported by all means of transportation, usually
depending on the distance and amount. The majority is transported
