Is it Attitude?
A man was washing his new car when
his neighbor asked him , " when did you get
the car ?" He replied "My brother gave it to
me." The neighbor's response was, " I wish I
had a car like that."
Attitude Is Everything
Jerry was the kind of guy you love to hate. He
was always in a good mood and always had
something positive to say. When someone
would ask him how he was doing, he would
reply, "If I were any better, I would be twins!"
He was a unique manager because he had
several waiters who had followed him around
from restaurant to restaurant. The reason the
waiters followed Jerry was because of his
attitude. He was a natural motivator. If an
employee was having a bad day, Jerry was
there telling the employee how to look on the
positive side of the situation.
Seeing this style really made me curious, so
one day I went up to Jerry and asked him, "I
don't get it! You can't be a positive person all
of the time. How do you do it?"

released from the hospital with fragments of
the bullets still in his body. I saw Jerry about
six months after the accident. When I asked
him how he was, he replied, "If I were any
better, I'd be twins. Want to see my scars?"
I declined to see his wounds, but did ask him
what had gone through his mind as the
robbery took place. "The first thing that went
through my mind was that I should have
locked the back door", Jerry replied. "Then, as
I lay on the floor, I remembered that I had
two choices: I could choose to live, or I could
choose to die. I chose to live.

How do you handle adversity? Are you a

And also we are programmed with built-inboundaries. They are also not real but exist
only in our minds.
But with these imprinted belief systems, with
these inner boundaries, we are unable...

Story 1: Fly
We all must have seen a fly trapped in a
room ! If it reaches a glass window it
continues to flutter at the glass, trying to
escape. It does not think there can be other
openings in the room to escape !
Story 2 : Salesman
Once there was a sales man whose sales
ranged between 80% to 95% of his budget.

so were not going to make this product.
The three managers really believed in what
they had created. They wrote a business

The Mountain
A son and his father were walking on the
mountains. Suddenly, his son falls, hurts
himself and screams:
aaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!
To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating,
somewhere in the mountain:
aaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Curious, he yells: Who are you?
He receives the answer: Who are you?
And then he screams to the mountain: I
admire you!
The voice answers: I admire you!
Angered at the response, he screams:
Coward!
He receives the answer: Coward!

Business was so good he

Haven't you been reading the newspapers?
Build wisely
"An carpenter was ready to retire. The
employer was sorry to see his good worker
go and asked if he could build just one more
house as a personal favor. The carpenter said
yes, but in time it was easy to see that his
heart was not in his work. He resorted to
shoddy workmanship and used inferior
materials.
When the carpenter finished his work the
employer came to inspect the house. He
handed the front-door key to the carpenter.
"This is your house," he said, "my gift to
you." The carpenter was shocked! What a
shame! If he had only known he was building
his own house, he would have done it all so
differently.
building.
Then with a shock
we realize we have to live in the house we
have built. If we could do it over, we'd do it
much differently. But we cannot go back.
"Life is a do-it-yourself project," someone has
said. Your attitudes and the choices you make
today, go into building the "house" you live in
tomorrow."
