Issue
When you try to launch AutoCAD, the splash screen starts up and then
closes down with no apparent error message. This issue sometimes
occurs after installing a student or evaluation version of an Autodesk
product. This symptom is very similar to TS15176093
Solution
1. Check the file productname201xENUAdlm.log, e.g., the Autodesk
AutoCAD Architecture 2012 log file, ARCHDESK2012ENUAdlm.log,
located here:

Windows XP
C:\DocumentsandSettings\AllUsers\Application
Data\Autodesk\ADLM
Vista/Windows 7
C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ADLM
2. The error will typically be:

Reason=Fatalerror
ComputerName=COMPUTER
OS=6.1.7601.ServicePack1
File=AdlmFlxActTS.cpp,Line=784
AdlmActError=102[Toomanylicensesofonetype]
This indicates that the FLEXnet license files have become
corrupted.
3. Delete, rename or relocate all of the adskflex*.* files located in the
FLEXnet directory:

Windows XP
C:\DocumentsandSettings\AllUsers\ApplicationData\FLEXnet
\adskflex_*_tsf.data
Vista/Windows 7
C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\adskflex_*_tsf.data
This file contains all activations for all 2010 and newer Autodesk
products. You will need to re-register all your products if after
these files have been moved, renamed, or deleted.

products. You will need to re-register all your products if after

these files have been moved, renamed, or deleted.
4. Restart AutoCAD and go through the product activation procedure
again. New adskflex_*_tsf.data file will be created once youve
successfully re-registered your product(s).
