reminder
that
Information Evening will
be held for our Year 4
parents on Thursday 12th
of February. We will run
two sessions: 5.30-6.00
and 6.30-7.00pm. You will
only need to attend one
session with the time that
best suits your family. We
are
running
our
information sessions on a
different day to the rest
of the school to allow for
both teachers to be
present for you to meet
and ask questions with.

With our commencement of swimming this week came very excited students happy to
Swimming be back in the pool. This coming week with the opening of the new aquatic center will
see us travelling by bus to and from swimming lessons. The fee for the bus is already
covered and students will not be required to bring any money on swimming days. Thank you to all those
parents that ensured their child was wearing the correct swimming attire including swim shirts and school
house caps. If your child is unable to wear the school cap please ensure you send a note to be recorded at
the office.
Next week Miss R is off on her adventure (or challenge she might say) of a
lifetime riding over 300km along the coast of Victoria. This week during
worship our collection money as been put towards Miss Rs chosen charity Watoto Living Home Program,
and thanks to the generosity of our families she raised over $350. We wish Miss R all the best and pray for
her time away and her safe return and maybe a little prayer for giving her the strength for climbing the stairs
on her return Thursday. In her absence Mrs Windolf will be taking her class, all lessons will remain as
normal.

Author Visit

We have been lucky enough to secure a visit from the author Phil Kettle. Phil has
written many books including the too cool series that have been used in class and
for home reading. He will visit the school on Thursday the 19th of February.

Thank you for all of those parents that provided photos for their childs desk collage.
They are looking fantastic, parents will have an opportunity to view their childs work
during Parent Information evening next Thursday.
