Research Respondents

The respondents of this study were High School students of three different
Schools namely Ramon Duterte Memorial National High School which consist of
2,638 high school student, Tejero Night High School having 1,249 high school
student and lastly, Don Sergio Osmea, Sr. Memorial High School which is
composed of 1,819 high school students. Precisely, there are a total of 5,706
High School Student enrolled in the said schools.
Research Methodology
The proponents made use of the descriptive-survey method utilizing selfmade questionnaire as the main data gathering instrument. In addition, series of
research and interviews were conducted to supplement information which the
respondents provided.

Research Environment
This study was conducted in a classroom at Ramon Duterte Memorial
National High School located at Guadalupe, Cebu City.
The school started in 1986 which was named after the late Mayor Ramon
Duterte. Mayor Duterte made efforts in the reconstruction of the schools
destroyed buildings during a fire that occurred that same year. The first building
was constructed on donated property of the Solon-Hagni family, which was
adjacent to Guadalupe Elementary School.
After a fire that broke and destroyed the buildings, reconstruction took
place in the current location of the school, in V. Rama St. Guadalupe. The school
building was built from donations and genuine patronage of kind-hearted
Cebuanos. One of these generous Cebuanos was the Chinese philanthropist
Frederick Ong, Jr. in which the building was named after him and was divided to
house the schools faculty room, the school clinic, the TLE laboratories and the
third year classrooms.
