MODFIN Critique Writing

Objectives
1. To give students additional insights to their financial accounting lessons in class.
2. To develop the writing skills of the students.
3. To create a data bank of materials that may be used in research activities conducted by both
faculty members and students.
Guidelines

1. The critique proper may use the following outline:


a. Introduction
b. Synopsis of the article
c. Comparison of the article with what has been taken up in class
d. Comments, suggestions and recommendations
2. The critique must
a. Be typewritten in short bond paper.
b. Be double spaced with a font of 12 ARIAL.
c. Have a one inch margin all over.
d. Be 3 pages long excluding cover page and copy of the article.
3. Submittal of paper must include the following:
a. Cover page (Title, Students Name, ID Number and Date)
b. Critique Proper
c. Copy of the Article (Indicate Source)
