In this group exercise you will:
Read article and highlight the text that you think indicates a biased or balanced presentation on the topic.
Decide whether the article is Biased

or Balanced.
On your chart paper

Write the title of your article.


Locate the Thesis,(message/argument), of the article and write it on your paper.
Identify author/publisher. Does this matter?
Tone: what is the overall tone of your article? (Tone may be formal, informal, intimate, solemn, somber, playful,
serious, ironic, condescending, or many other possible attitudes).
Write down 2 examples (in quotations) where your article shows

Bias or Balance.

List 2 things
