HowtheSystemWorks
Consistentandcorrectuseofthisremotedogtrainerallowsyoutoreinforcecommandsandcorrect
misbehaviourfromupto1000meters(inopenarea).Thereare50groupsofwarningtonesthatcanbe
usedforpraise,warningorsilentrecall.Orusetheremotetransmittertosendasignal,activatingthe
collarreceivertodeliveravibrationcorrectionoraharmlessstimulation.Ithas10levelsofvibration
corrections and 99 levels of static pulse intensity so you can find the best level for your dogs
temperamentandthetypeoftrainingyoudo.
Important: Thisremotedogtrainingsystemhasarangeofupto1000meters.Dependingonthe
wayyouholdtheremotetransmitter,themaximumrangemayvary.Forconsistentresultsatlonger
ranges,holdtheremotetransmitterinaverticalpositionawayfromyourbodyandaboveyourhead.
Terrain,weather,vegetation,transmissionfromotherradiodevices,andotherfactorswillaffectthe
maximumrange.
MoreInformationaboutStaticPulseCorrection
The99levelsofstaticpulsecorrectioninclude10degreesofintensity(frommildesttostrongest).Each
degree of static intensity is divided by 10 different correction durations (from 200ms to 2s). For
example,forlevel1ofstaticpulsecorrection,ithasthemildeststaticpulseintensityandtheshortest
correctionduration(200ms).Whileatlevel10,ithasthesamemildeststaticpulseintensity(sameas
level1)butthelongestcorrectionduration(2s).Forlevel90tolevel99,ithasthestrongeststaticpulse
intensitywithdifferentcorrectiondurations(from200msto2s).
QuickStartGuide
Step1:PreparetheRemoteTransmitter
(Caution!Alwaysusethesuppliedpoweradaptortochargethetransmitter.)
Toswitchonthetransmitter,pressandholdONbutton(+)onthetransmitterfor3seconds.Toswitchit
off,pleasepressandholdOFFbutton()for3seconds.
Important:IftherearenoBatteryStatusBarsshownonLCDdisplay,itmeansthebatteryisrunning
downandpleasechargethetransmitterwiththesuppliedchargerplug.Whenthebatteryislow,the
LCDbacklightwillflashthreetimeswheneverthe"T"buttonispressed,toprompttheownertocharge
thetransmitter.
Chargingthetransmitter:Plugthesuppliedwallchargerintothewallsocketandintothechargerport
ofthetransmitter.ThebatterystatusbaronLCDdisplaywillstartflashingwithmovingbars.Whenthe
batterystatusbarstopsflashingwithfullbarsshowing,thetransmitterisfullycharged.Thenormal
chargingtimefortransmitterisaround4hours,fornewbattery,itwilltakelongertogetfullychargedin
thefirstfewcycles.Donotchargethetransmitterinanespeciallyhotarea.Pleaseremovethepower
plugfromthewallsocketwhenthetransmitterisfullycharged.

Step2:ChargetheCollarReceiver
(Caution!Alwaysusethesuppliedpoweradaptortochargethereceiver.)
Liftthesmallrubbertabonthereceivertoaccessthechargerport.Plugthesuppliedwallchargerinto
thewallsocketandintothechargerportofthereceiver.AredLEDlightisvisibleinsidethereceiver
duringcharging.Whenitisfullycharged,agreenLEDlightnexttotheredLEDlightwillcomeupand
stayonuntiltheplugisremovedfromthewallsocket.(AndtheredLEDlightwilleitherstayonif
chargingfromOFFmodeORitwillstartflashingifchargingfromONmode.)
Thenormalchargingtimeforreceiverunitisaround4hours,fornewbattery,itwilltakelongertoget
fullychargedinthefirstfewcycles.Donotchargereceiverinanespeciallyhotarea.Pleaseremove
thepowerplugfromthewallsocketwhenthereceiverisfullycharged.
Please cover the charging portwith the rubber tab tightly after charging.To insertthe rubbertab
smoothlyintothechargingport,pleasemakesurethestudontherubbertabiskeptinverticalposition
andalignedwiththechargingportonthecollarreceiver.
Whenthebatteryislow,theLEDlightonthereceiverwillflashred.Pleasechargethereceiverassoon
aspossible.Signalstothereceivermaybecomeinconsistent.
Thecollarreceiverwillentersleepmodewhenthereisnomovementfromthedogformorethan3
minutes.
Step3:TurnON/OFFtheCollarReceiver
Aftercharging,thecollarreceiverwillbeturnedonautomaticallywhenthepowerplugisremoved.
Toturnoffthecollarreceiver,simplytouchthematchingupareaonthecollarreceiver(asshownin
Picture1)withtheflatsurfacesideoftheMagnetMatchinguptool*forthreetimes(within6seconds),
thecollarreceiverwillbleeponcewiththeredLEDlightflashingonce.ThecollarreceiverisintoOFF
mode.Nomovementwillreactivatethecollarreceiveruntilitisturnedon.
Toturnonthecollarreceiver,againsimplytouchthematchingupareaonthecollarreceiver(asshown
in Picture 1) with the flat surface side of the Magnet Matchingup tool * for three times (within 6
seconds),thecollarreceiverwillbleeponce.ThecollarreceiverisintoON(working)mode.
Toachievelongerbatterylife,pleaseturnoffthecollarreceiverwhenitisnotused.
Ifthesystemisnotgoingtobeusedforalongperiodoftime,pleasedothefollowing:
1.Fullychargebothtransmitterandcollarreceiver;
2.Switchbothofthemoff;
3.Storetheminastillplace.
*TheMagnetMatchinguptoolisalittleroundshapemagnet,usuallycanbefoundinthesmallplasticbagtogetherwith
thelongerprongs.
Step4:MatchtheReceiverwiththeTransmitter
(Note:Whenformultidogtraining,adifferentcolourstrapshouldbeusedoneachdogsothatyou
knowwhichdogwill receivestimulationwhen youpressabutton. Whenyoupurchasea onedog
system,onestrapisincluded.Whenyoupurchasemorethan1collarreceiver,differentcolourstraps
willbesupplied.)

Collarreceivercanonlybecontrolledthroughtransmitter whenitismatchedupproperlywiththe
transmitterononeofthedogchannelseitherA,BorC.
4.1Makesurethecollarreceiveristurnedon.(Thecollarreceiverwillbeturnedonautomaticallyafter
thechargingorpleaserefertoStep3:TurnON/OFFtheCollarReceiver).
4.2 Touchthemarkedmatchingupareaonthecollarreceiver(asshowninPicture1)withtheflat
surfacesideofthesuppliedmagnetmatchinguptool,agreenLEDlightinsidethecollarreceiverwill
comeupandstayon.Holdthemagnettheretokeepthegreenlightstayingon.

4.3SwitchonthetransmitterhandsetandthenchooseeitherA,B,orCdogchannel(note:thiswillbe
yourselectedchannelforthiscollarreceiver).Setthefunctiontoelectricshockcorrectionbypressing
theshockcorrectionbutton,setthecorrectionlevelto1usingtheupanddownbutton,(asshownin
Picture2).Ifthecorrectionlevelisshowingtwobars,i.e."",itmeansthecorrectionmodeisdisabled,
simplypresstheshockcorrectionbuttononcemoretoenableit.
4.4PresstheTbuttonontransmitterhandset.ThegreenLEDlightonthetransmitterwillcomeup,
whichwillsendoutamatchingupsignaltothecollarreceiver.Onthecollarreceiver,thegreenLED
light will start flashing a few times and then go off, which indicates the matchingup procedure is
completedsuccessfully.
Note:Ifthecollarreceiverhasbeenpreviouslymatchedtothetransmitterononeofthechannelseither
A,BorC,whenyoureperformthismatchingupprocedureandtrytomatchituptothesamechannel,
thegreenLEDlightonthecollarreceiverwillnotflashintheend.Thisisnormalandbydesign.
4.5Youmaynowremovethemagnettoolandstartusingthesystem.
Formultidogtrainingsetup,simplyfollowtheabovematchingupproceduretomatchupthecollar
receiversonebyone.Eachtime,chooseadifferentchannelforthenewcollarreceiver.
Thematchingcodewillbestoredinthereceiverautomaticallyandyoudonotneedtorepeatthe
matchingproceduresafterswitchingofforrecharging.*
*Ifthebatteryinsidethecollarreceiverhasbeenflatforalongperiodoftime,thecollarreceivermightlosethematching
codememory.Pleasechargethecollarreceiverandperformthematchingupprocedureagain.
Step5:TesttheCollarReceiver
Important:Wewouldrecommendyoutousewarningtoneorvibrationcorrectionfirstbeforestarting
thestaticpulseshockstimulation.Andalwaysstartatthelowestlevelofstimulationandworkyour
wayup.
Pleasemakesurethecollarreceiverisinfullyworkingorderbeforeputtingitonyourdog!
LetstakeDogAcollarreceiverforexample:
Totestthevibrationfunction,pressthevibrationbuttononthetransmitterandthebelowiconswillappear
ontheLCDscreen:
ItmeansDogAisselectedandvibrationisonlevel1(theweakestlevel).Thereare10levelsofvibrationsand
level10isthestrongestlevel.
PressbuttonTtosendoutsignaltoDogAcollarreceiveranditwillvibrate.
Quicklypressplus+buttontoincreasethevibrationintensityorpressminusbuttontoreduceit.
Totestthewarningtonefunction,pressthetonebuttononthetransmitterandthebelowiconswillappear
ontheLCDscreen:
ItmeansDogAisselectedandwarningtoneisongroup1.Thereare50groupsofwarningtonesindifferent

,presstheshockbuttononthetransmitterandthebelowiconswill
appearontheLCDscreen:
ItmeansDogAisselectedandthestaticpulseshockisonlevel1(theweakestlevel).Thereare99levelsof
staticpulsestimulationandlevel99isthestrongestlevel.Attachthesuppliedtestbulbtobothofthemetal
prongsonthecollarreceiver.(Pleasenotethetestbulbisonlyfortestpurpose,whenthecollarreceiverisused
onthedog,pleaseremovethetestbulbfromthecollarreceiver).
PressTbuttontosendoutshocksignaltoDogAcollarreceiverandthetestbulbwillcomeupflashing,which
meansitisgivingoutshockcorrection.
Quicklypressplus+buttontoincreasetheshockintensityorpressminusbuttontoreduceit.
Tips:Whenonlevel99,youcanquicklypressplus+buttononcetogobacktolevel1.Whenonlevel1,you
canquicklypressminusbuttononcetoincreasetolevel99.
Note: Formultidogtraining,pleaseselectthedogyouwouldliketotrainbypressingA,BorCbutton.When
LCDscreenisshowingthecorrectdogselected,thenfollowtheaboveprocedurestosendoutcorrectionsignals.
Step6:FittheCollarReceiverontheDog
Toensureaproperfit,pleasefollowthestepsbelow:
1. Withyourdogstanding,centrethecollarreceiverwherecontactpointsareunderneathyour
dogsneck,touchingtheskin.Ifyoudoghasalongorthickcoat,trimthehairaroundthecontact
pointstoensureconsistentcontact.
2. Thecollarreceivershouldfitsnugly,yetlooseenoughtoallowonefingertofitbetweenthestrap
andyourdogsneck.Ifthestrapistoolongforyourdog,cutofftheexcesslength.
3. Allowyourdogtowearthecollarforseveralminutes,andthenrecheckthefit.Checkthefit
againasyourdogbecomesmorecomfortablewearingthecollarreceiver.
Important:
1. Theproperfitandplacementofthecollarreceiverisimportantforeffectivetraining.Thecontact
pointsmusthavedirectcontactwithyourdogsskin.Trimthefurifnecessary.
2. Pleasenotethatthecollarreceiversarenotdesignedtobeworncontinuouslybyadog.To
preventirritationcausedbyrubbing,removethecollarforatleast8hoursoutofevery24hour
period.
3. Pleasenotethatourcollarsaredesignedforremotetrainingpurposeonly.Neverattachaleash
ontothecollar.Useaseparatecollarstrapifneeded.
CareandCleaning
Toensuretheeffectivenessofthisproductandthecomfortandsafetyofyourdog,checkthefitofhis
collarfrequently.Yourdogsneckandthecontactpointsmustbewashedweeklywithawashclothand
mildhandsoap,andthenrinsedthoroughly.Ifyounoticethatyourdogisexperiencingskinirritation,
discontinue use of the collar for a few days. If the condition persists over 48 hours, consult your
veterinarian.
FindtheBestIntensityLevelforYourDog
Thisremotetrainingsystemhasmultipleintensitylevels.Thisallowsyoutochoosethestimulationthat
isbestforyourdog.Alwaysstartatthelowestlevelandworkyourwayup.Fortrainingefficiency,itis
importanttofindtherightintensitylevelforyourdog.ThisiscalledRecognitionLevel,atwhichyourdog
looksaroundincuriosity,orflickshisear.
FindingYourDogsRecognitionLevel:
EverydogisdifferentandyoucannotpredictwhereyourdogsRecognitionLevelwillbe.Watchclosely
foranyslightchangeinbehaviourthattellsyouyourdogisfeelingthestimulation.
1. Withthecollarreceiverturnedonandproperlyfittedtoyourdog,selectstaticpulseshocklevel1
andpressTbuttontosendoutsignal.
2. IfyourdogshowsnoreactiontoLevel1,thengraduallyincreasetheintensitylevelbyquickly
pressingplus+button.
3. YOURDOGSHOULDNOTVOCALIZEORPANICWHENRECEIVINGSTIMULATION.IFTHIS
HAPPENS,THESTIMULATIONLEVELISTOOHIGHANDYOUNEEDTOGOBACKTOTHE
PREVIOUSLEVELANDREPEATTHEPROCESS!
4. OnceyourfindyourdogsRecognitionlevel,thisisthelevelyoushouldusewhenyoubegina
trainingexercise.(Theselectedlevelwillbestoredinthetransmitterautomatically.)
5. IfyouhaveprogressedtoLevel99whilesearchingforyourdogsRecognitionLevelandyour
dogcontinuestoshownoresponse,checktoseeifcollarreceiverissnugagainstyourdogs
neck.ThengobacktoIntensityLevel1(button1)andrepeattheprocess.Ifyourdogstilldoes
notindicateheisfeelingthestimulation,youmayhavetotrimthehairbeneaththecontact
points.
GeneralTrainingTips
Pleasekeepthefollowingtrainingtipsinmind.
Eliminateonemisbehaviourorteachoneobediencecommandatatime.Ifyoumovetoofast
withthetraining,yourdogmaybecomeconfused.
Beconsistent.Giveyourdogatoneoravibrationorstimulationwitheachmisbehaviour.
Donotovercorrectyourdog.Useasfewstimulationaspossibletotrainyourdog.
Restrict your dog from situationsin which hehas a history of misbehaving unlessyou can
supervisehimandusetheremotetrainingsystemforapplyingtone,vibrationorstimulation
corrections.
Ifyounoticeonesituationinwhichyourdogmisbehavesrepeatedly,setupthissituationasa
trainingsession.Thiswilldramaticallyincreaseyourchancesofsuccess.
Ifyourdoghasatimidreactiontothetoneorvibrationorstimulation(especiallythefirstcouple
oftimes),donotbealarmed.Redirecthisattentiontoasimpleandappropriatebehaviour(i.e.a
knowncommand,suchasSit).
Neverusetheremotetrainingsystemtocorrectoreliminateanyformofaggressivebehaviour.If
yourdogexhibitssuchbehaviour,contactaprofessionaltrainer.Aggressionindogsistheresult
ofmanyfactorsitmaybealearnedbehaviouroritmaybebroughtonasaresultoffear.
Anotherfactorcontributingtoaggressionindogsissocialdominance.Everydogisdifferent.
Onlyusethistrainingsystemonhealthydogsofatleast6monthsold.

Troubleshooting
ProblemNo.1:Ifthecollarreceiverappearsnottobeworking,trythefollowing:
Testthecollarreceiver.IfredLEDlightflashes,pleasechargethereceiver.
IfnoBatteryStatusBarsshownonthetransmitter,pleasechargethetransmitter.
Checkthecorrectchannelonthetransmitterisusedforthecollarreceiver.
Reperformthematchingupprocedure(Step4)betweenthecollarreceiverandtransmitterhandsetand
trytomatchupthecollarreceiverintoadifferentchannel.
Adjustthecollarstraptofit.
Checktheprongsaretightened.
Ensurethecontactpointsareindirectcontactwithyourdogsskin.
Ifnecessary,trimthedogshairoruselongerprobestoensureproperskincontact.Nevershavethe
dogsneck.
Useastrongerstimulationlevel.Pleasenotethatinverycoldweather,youmayneedtouseaslightly
highersettingtoachievethesamelevelofintensity.
ProblemNo.2:Thecollarreceivercannotbematchedupwiththetransmitter.
Pleasemakesurethecollarreceiverisswitchedon.WhenthecollarreceiverisinOFFmode,thegreen
lightinsidethecollarreceiverwillstillcomeonwhenyouputthematchingupmagnetontoit;butitwillnot
flashwhenyousendoutthematchingupsignalfromthetransmitter.
Pleasemakesurethematchingupmagnetisattachedtothecollarreceiverduringthematchingup
procedure,donotremovethemagnetuntilthegreenlightinsidethecollarreceiverstartsflashingandthe
matchingupiscomplete.
ProblemNo.3:Thesystemdoesnthaverange,ortherangehasbeensignificantlyreduced.
Eitheryouorthedogisshieldedbyametalstructure.Metalfences,chainlinkdogenclosures,screendoors,
buildings,andothermetalstructurescanaffecttheradiosignal.OperatetheRemoteTrainerawayfromthese
structures.
Youreexperiencingtemporaryradiointerference.RadiosignalsfromnearbyCBsandwalkietalkiescanreduce
range.Waitashortwhilethentryagain,ormovetoanotherarea.
Important: Asthisproductisawirelesstransmittingapparatus,youmustNOTusetheremote
controlsysteminplaceslikepetrolstationsorhospitalswheremobilephonesareprohibited.Patients
usingheartpacemakersareforbiddentousethisproduct.
