American forces were converted into passenger jeepneys which provide convenient
solution to the nationwide transport problem G.L Labastilla
Employee-Employer relationship
-The owner has full control of the production process
- the drives haves exercised relative control over the machine(the jeepney) and its
earnings
-the driver may even choose or change employer as he pleases for as long as the
boundary system remains acceptable to both parties G.L Labastilla

Riding public with the operation of the jeepneys
1. Many jeepney drivers resort to trip-cutting at the tip of the noses of law
enforcement peoplewho seem more to be tolerant or indifferent than helpless in
controlling the malady.
2. Many jeepney drivers pick up or let down passengers near the middle or even at
the middle of streets and on street corners, thereby obstructing traffic flow.
3. Many jeepney drivers smoke during their journey and often accost cigarette
vendors for a stic or two. Smoking while driving is unsafe act that can endanger
the lives of the passengers.
4. Many jeepneys are equipped with stereo sets played by drivers at full earsplitting volume resulting in noise pollution.
5. Many jeepneys are smoke belchers, particularly those of the diesel type.

6. Jeepneys are rented out under what is known as boundary system which is
against and existing regulation and is the cause of reckless driving.
7. Many jeepney drivers lack social responsibility as they take time on their job
during the rush hours, making the wait for a ride very tiring.
