What is an obituary?
An obituary is the "final word" about a deceased person, describing his/her
attributes, deeds and accomplishments.
Obituaries provide answers to "who, what, where, when, why and how" are
especially helpful in sharing the persons story.
Todays Assignment: Create an obituary for Louis XIV.
Please use your own words and not just cutting and pasting from websites.
Requirements:
Be creative and unique.
How long does it have to be? As long as it takes for you to complete his
obituary.
Must include dates of birth and death
Must include at least 1 picture of Louis XIV

Palace of Versailles
Todays Assignment: Create a travel brochure for the Palace of Versailles by
computer or by hand.
Requirements:
Be creative and unique.
Topics to Include:
geographical location
national language
history of the palace
tours of the palace
prices in the national currency
hours and times open
How long does it have to be? As long as it takes to complete the brochure.
Must include at least 2-3 pictures/graphics/illustrations
