Feb. 11, Wed.- Jr. Youth, JGA and JBA will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite
Church from 7-8:30 p.m. Jr. Youth will have a movie night; JGA will do a
Valentine craft and make soft pretzels; JBA will be going on a tour of White Oak
Ice Plant.
Feb. 14, Sat.-Sweetheart Banquet here at church at 5:30 p.m. Big Johns BBQ will
be catering again.
Feb. 17, Tues.-Nate Yoder presents From Conservative Amish Mennonite to
Evangelical Anabaptist: A Historical Overview of the Conservative Mennonite
Conference at 7 p.m., at Elizabethtown Colleges Young Center for Anabaptist
and Pietist Studies. Yoder is professor of church history at Eastern Mennonite
Seminary and author of Together in the Work of the Lord: A History of the
Conservative Mennonite Conference (Herald Press, 2014). For more information,

Feb. 18, Wed.-Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will meet in the morning and
afternoon. The project for this month is Hygiene Kits.A kit includes the following
new items: 1 dark colored hand towel; 1 adult toothbrush in packaging; 1 large bar
soap, in packaging; 1 good quality fingernail clipper.
Mar. 7, Sat.-Stewardship University, a ministry partnership between Everence and
our local faith community, is coming to Lancaster. How can we build peace in our
communities? Representatives of EMMs Christian/Muslim Relations Team will
explain in their workshop, Building a community where Christians and Muslims
live together in peace. Examples will include a local context, as Christians and
Muslims work at peacemaking in Lancaster. For more information or to register,

-Know someone looking for an affordable, spacious apartment with new
amenities? Friendship Community is a Christian ministry cultivating capabilities of
Individuals with developmental disabilities. They own and operate the Old Mill
Apartments at 175 Old Mill Road in Ephrata. Twenty of these rental units are used
for non-profit purposes, offering apartment space to the Individuals within
Friendship. Twenty rental units are available to the general public, and they

-The Jr. Youth is having a hat and glove drive for people who need clothing to
keep warm. The drive will last until February 15th. There will be a box in the lobby
and near the coat room upstairs where people can donate. The Jr. Youth group
would like these gloves and hats to be new. If there are any questions, you can email

-We are trying to revive the photo directory project. There is a very rough draft on
the table in the narthex. Many family or individual photos are missing or are
already outdated. Photos may be taken most Sundays after church, or email a photo
to Pastor Phil philandkelly@gmail.com
