Dear Sis. Bebet Reyes!
Sto.Nio Chapel is increasing its parishioners as years goes by. It is a sign that the devotion to
the Holy Child of Jesus (Sto. Nio) builds-up the faith, solidarity and participation of the
parishioners to various activities of the church. There is also an increase in number of Church
Volunteers such as Lectors and Commentator, Extraordinary Ministry of the Holy Communion
(Lay Man/ Minister), Ushers, Greeters and Collectors to accommodate the needs of the
community and supervise the programs and activities of the church.
In line with this, The Holy Name Society: Sto Nio de Tondo Inc, extend their help to assist you
in your mission to spread and promulgate the devotion to the Holy Child of Jesus (Sto. Nio).
The Christian faithful who come together as one in expectation of the Lords coming are
instructed by the Apostle Paul to sing together Psalms, hymns, and spiritual canticles (cf. Col 3:
16). Singing is the sign of the hearts joy (cf. Acts 2: 46). Thus St.Augustine says rightly,
Singing is for one who loves,48 and there is also an ancient proverb: Whoever sings well
prays twice over (General Instruction on Roman Missal, 2012) with this, we compassionately
refer our Choir Master Bro. Victor Canonce to teach Choral Music in your community. Bro.
Victor Canonce is also the Choir Master in various choirs in Sto. Nio de Tondo Parish. He is
trained in chorale for 35 years. We can provide music score that are commonly sung in the
Celebration of the Holy Eucharist so that our parishioners can sing well and glorify God.
