A CT scan of the cervical spine revealed posterior bulging of the C4-C5 and C5-C6 disc levels, though the ventral epidural fat was preserved. The other scanned discs showed a normal appearance, and there was no evidence of neural foramina stenosis or para-vertebral soft tissue masses. The facet joints and bones also appeared normal.
