From the
There's still time to apply for the Washington Semester Internship
Program--a great opportunity to work and study in the nation's capital during the fall semester.
The program, which is managed by the USC Honors College, is open
to Honors students across the state. Many Clemson students have
participated over the years, working for members of Congress, interest groups, media organizations, and government agencies.
The Washington Semester Program welcomes students from all majors. Although many participants are from "traditional" majors such
as political science, English, history, and economics, others come
from engineering, the sciences, education, and other fields.
Decisions made in Washington impact all of us in both our personal
and professional lives. So whether you're headed into medicine, industry, academia--or, of course, politics--consider catching "Potomac
fever" next fall. But hurry--the deadline for applications is this Thursday, February 12. For more information, see page 3 of this newsletter.
