I am delighted to recommend Kyle Cassidy, who has been my marketing and entrepreneurship student in two upper-class courses. John Carroll University is full of excellent students, so when one stands out, it is on the basis of character and values. The first qualities that come to my mind, when thinking of Kyle, are: positive, collaborator and achiever. The first two qualities produce his results as an achiever; as Ive seen in class and in John Carroll business plan competitions. What really puts Kyle in a high-level category is that he seeks to apply his knowledge and experiences immediately to his internship, job and outside activities. He knows how to maximize his financial and personal investment in coursework and extracurriculars. Kyle proactively addresses any knowledge or resource gaps; which is a creative problem-solving skill that is highly sought after in the work world. From our conversations outside of class, when he has sought additional information, advice or clarification, I know that Kyle sees the connections between college and the work world. I have witnessed Kyle many times pursuing his team members, to arrange meeting times and assign roles and responsibilities. Hes good at choosing members who complement one anothers skills. And hes likeable. Weve shared many laughs and his colleagues love working with him. So I see some real leadership potential in him too. Whoever invests in Kyles growth can be assured that there will be a big multiplier on the return! Im excited to see how his career unfolds.
