When will CCAs happen?


The main CCA programme runs on Tuesdays and
Wednesdays after school

They start at 15:45 and finish at 16:30

On these days, buses depart from school at 16:45

CCAs will start the week after China Week

How can I find out more?

How do we sign up?


Last year, we successfully piloted the use of
CHQ to manage our CCA sign up system
We will use it again this year and you will all be sent your login
information and instructions shortly
(keep an eye out for the email)

When can we sign up?


You will have 20 minutes during PSHCE next Wednesday (10th
September)
Ensure you check out the website BEFORE this time and have
a backup choice

I play the jazz flute and run ultra marathons


outside of school how do I opt out?
It is expected all will take part in at least one activity on the CCA programme but we
understand that you all have other commitments and clubs outside of these walls.

To opt out you will need to SIGN UP to the withdrawal CCA on the day you wish
to withdraw.

Before this withdrawal can be authorised, your parent/guardian will need to sign a
permission form which will be available from your tutor next week.

Dulwich Challenge

Description

All students are expected to


achieve the Dulwich Challenge.
Students will earn this
achievement through active
school participation in regular
school activities.

To achieve extra recognition within


the top level of achievement through
their year group, students must
exceptional participation in and
commitment
to the Dulwich Challenge
complete activities in addition to
programme. The Dulwich Challenge Elite
the regular requirements of the
awardees will be determined by a panel of
Dulwich Challenge.

Activities

Students must complete one


activity per term in at least two
types (Academic, Action,
Creative or Service) in the year.
At least 80% attendance is
required for each activity.

Students participate in six activities


through the year, in at least three types
- Academic, Action, Creative or Service.
At least 80% attendance is required for
each activity
Students must also participate in at
least one House Event

In addition to the requirements


for the Dulwich Challenge
Extra, students lead, create,
excel or inspire in the Activity
or House programme.

Adventure

Students must complete their


Year Group trip during China
Week in September.

Students participate in at
least one further
adventurous activity, such
as International Award.

In addition to the requirements

Service

Students must participate


in one service project
during the school year.

Students participate in at least


two service based projects
during the school year.

A few elite students can be rewarded with

teachers at the end of the school year.
