On Saturday, February 7, 2015 at approx. 1558 hours, Precinct 2 officers responded to 1334
Terry Rd., Whites Barbershop regarding several shots being fired at this location. Upon officers
arrival it was learned that a subject had been shot multiple times in the parking lot of this
location and had been transported to UMC via private vehicle for medical treatment.
During the preliminary investigation it was learned that an altercation ensued in the parking lot
between at least two subjects. During the course of the altercation at least two subjects retrieved
handguns and began firing shots at the victim and in the direction of the business. The victim
was injured and the business sustained damage as a result of the gunfire along with several
vehicles in the parking lot. There were no other injuries reported.
Robbery/Homicide Detectives conducted a follow-up investigation which led to one of the
suspects in this incident being identified as Derrick Bolls. He is currently wanted for one count
of Aggravated Assault and one count of Shooting in an Occupied Dwelling. The case is still
under investigation and Detectives need the publics assistance in identifying the second suspect
involved in this incident.
