Paula Nicho Cumez gets her ideas from
native women, her town, her culture, and
most of her ideas come from dreams she
had. She enjoys using as many colors as she
can. She also likes using/drawing women in
her painting to represent their rights.

Paula Nicho Cumez works has earned

international attention
Her works has been featured in
National Geographic many times.
She has also won numerous art
awards.
Paula Nicho Cumez had been a
honorable Mention in the IV Certamen
Nacional de Arte por la Paz.
She was also honored on the
International Day of the Woman
She also had received the award
GLIFO for Popular Paintings of
Guatemala in the Bienal de Artes Paiz.
